Here's a checklist of things to be done to if you need to change the name of a workgroup. (This is just a checklist. Details are left to the user, at least for now.)

• Change the groupname column in the groups table of the auth_n database.
• Change the groupname column in the auth table of the auth_n database.
• Change the groupname column in the access table of the auth_n database.
• Change the name of the group's database.
• On source, rename the directory /home/cvs/<groupname>.
• Rename the directory /home/www/wwwdata/<hostname>/<groupname>.
• Rename the directory /home/www/cvswww/<hostname>/<groupname>.
• Edit every CVS/Repository file under /home/www/cvswww/<hostname>/<groupname>.
• Update all user sessions that might have the group in them. This can be done with a PHP script that looks like this:

  Note that running this will undo any permission overrides anybody might have.
• Change the name of the group's mail lists. (Details TBD). This is unnecessary if the name change only involves upper/lower-case changes.
• Change the mail list name where it appears in /etc/mail/virtusertable and run

  makemap dbm /etc/mail/virtusertable < /etc/mail/virtusertable
  

• Change the mail list name where it appears in /etc/aliases and run

  newaliases
