InstallingAdobeAcrobatAdobe Acrobat 11 is available from the EECS department for both Windows and Mac operating systems. To install on a Mac:Connect to the macsww server starting from the Go tab in the top bar and choose Connect to Server (For details see Accessing home, project, MacSWW: ![]() Type smb://macsww.ecs.berkeley.edu/macsww for the server address and click Connect. ![]() Locate Acrobat XI Installer 11.0.pkg under Intel/Adobe and drag it to your desktop. Double-click on the icon and follow the guided installation instructions. This should take you less than 5 minutes to install. ![]() To install on a PC:Connect to \\winsww\sww\public. Drill down through ‘Adobe/Windows/Acrobat CC2014x32’ or ‘x64’ depending on your system. ![]() Click forward and select whichever version you need in the next window, e.g., Acrobat CC2014x64. From there, click forward to Build and then choose the Windows Installer Package. ![]() Guided installation instructions appear when you click on the Installer Package. This takes a bit longer than installing Acrobat on a mac. |
